Cannot link EA account even after logging in to overlays built in browser

I cannot link my account with the overlay no matter what I do. I’ve tried almost everything. The overlay detects ongoing games and displays live stats but after game ends its like it never happened. One of the games it crashed my whole pc somehow when I pressed Alt + e to show the overlay and I have never had my pc crash before while playing Apex legends.

My Current EA User ID is: TheRealSpagget

The Apex app is a little bit behind the times and could do with an overhaul. Apologies, we’re super busy at the moment.
