Possible cause of Valorant application crash as at version 1.04 Valorant update

Hi,

I had an issue where the Valorant application was crashing when the Overwolf overlay would pop up. I updated game and video drivers to no result.

After disabling Valorant Tracker auto-launch and whole application, loading crashes stopped, and the game worked as usual.

Hey, you are right.

Unfortuetnly the new Valorant update casued the Overwolf API to crash and the Overwolf team disabled the API recently. It should not cause any crashes anymore.

They are working on a fix and hopefully we’ll be back soon. I’m sorry you had to deal with this.
