I’ve clicked a button next to my name that made my name appear as “New Agent” I’ve attempted to login and it hasn’t worked. Do I have to join a match in order to see my name again? cause I’ve attempted a deathmatch and it didn’t work either.

The button is used to unlink your profile and clear the app data. Now, you need to open the app, launch Valorant and play a match in Competitive/Unrated/Spike Rush. Playing Deathmatch or some other game modes might not work sometimes.
Also, please make sure your nickname is visible during a match. If it is hidden, please open your privacy settings and switch them to “Off”:
