I cannot believe they want people to pay for a site that has so many areas that are not updated at all.
DB out of date, lots of PvE content they used to offer is out of date, by like 10 seasons.

First of all, I would like to emphasize that you can use the website and access all the content for free. The Premium subscription mainly exists to remove ads, personalize profiles, and get priority support. It is also not limited to Destiny as you get all the Premium benefits in all our projects.
We are aware that some parts of the website are outdated. However, we see little interest in Database, Guides, and some other features, while it is time consuming to keep them up-to-date. As such, we do not have plans to actively maintain these features anymore.
Instead, we have decided to focus on game profiles (primarily the PvP elements) in Destiny. We released a major update last year, and all future updates will be focused on profiles as well.
