My highlights are being recorded but most of the times, they bug out. Sometimes it just shows the cover and sometimes it is lagging alot with very low frames. Can anyone help?

You may need to try changing your encoding settings (for example, check if a different codec fixes the issue).
In addition to it, please check if your GPU drivers are up-to-date.
