My valorant peak is stuck at p2 when my current rank is d1 (the tracker should at least show p3 as peak rating because i just promo’d to d1).

you’re absolutely right - peak rating updates are currently disabled as we’re making sure the Ascendant ranks don’t wreak havoc in our database. hopefully we’ll have them enabled by tomorrow or even later today. i’ll make sure your profile is updated accordingly.
