A problem about the app unknown player

on the app i cannot see my actual account it says unknown player even tho i have an account on trn how do i fix this?

This issue usually happens if the Overwolf Overlay is disabled (see my screenshot below, it should be enabled) or your in-game nickname is anonymized (in this case, you need to change your Fortnite settings).

If your overlay is enabled and your nickname is public but you are still experiencing this issue, please send us your game logs to help us understand why it happens:

It looks like some Overwolf components are outdated. Could you restart the Overwolf client or your computer and try to play a match in Fortnite again? Overwolf should update its components automatically when you launch it again.
