Reporting Players via Overwolf App

Ubisoft has announced that they will be accepting player reports through Twitter if they are provided with the correct information. We’ve been in direct discussions with Ubisoft and they have confirmed this.

Our PC Overwolf app will now allow our users to quickly report cheaters and toxic players that you play against.

When playing a game against a cheater/ toxic player, record as much clear video evidence as you can and make sure to report the player in-game too. For cheaters, we recommend recording evidence from the cheater’s perspective in the match replay to increase the chances of a sanction.

When you are ready to report the cheater/ toxic player you played against, navigate to the “Match History” page on the Overwolf app, click on the game where the offending player was present and hit the report (flag) option next to their name. You’ll then be given reporting options, select the correct offense, and hit the “generate” option. Our app will then generate the necessary information required and paste the information on Twitter in your default browser. Please then attach clear video evidence to the auto-filled post provided. Your evidence must be included within the initial tweet, do not link further clips in the comments or provide links to google drive folders etc.

See a good example of a successful report here.

DO NOT EDIT THE TEMPLATE OR TAG UBISOFT SUPPORT. We have agreed on the format of the Twitter posts with Ubisoft, the anti-cheat/ behaviour team will be monitoring posts with the hashtag “#R6TrackerReport”, the Ubisoft support team on Twitter will not be handling these reports, please do not tag them.

Once ready, tweet your report! Remember, the better evidence you attach, the more likely it is that the offending player will get banned!
