[Troubleshooting] Can't Find My Battlefield 6 Profile on Tracker.gg

Can’t find your profile on Battlefield Tracker?

Ensure Your Stats Profile Is Public

If your stats are set to private through the in-game settings page, we cannot retrieve your stats.

How To Make Your Stats Profile Public

Ensure your “Gameplay Data Sharing” option is enabled

  1. Open the in-game settings page

  2. System Tab → “Gameplay Data Sharing” → ON

  3. Play at least one full match to update your preferences.

Next Steps

  1. Make sure to filter your search by the platform you launch the game through.

  2. Enter your name exactly as it appears in-game. Usernames can be case sensitive on some platforms.

  3. Press ENTER or select your account from the search results.

  • If you have recently changed your username, make sure you’ve played at least one Battlefield 6 match with the new username.
  • If you have a Steam display name that many other players use. We recommend changing your username, then playing at least one Battlefield 6 match.

Please note, if you played the early access weekends, your stats are not available. You need to play a match in the fully released version of the game.

If you still cannot find your username, please read the further steps below. Sometimes DICE is very slow to detect name or privacy setting changes. In most cases, you just need to keep playing, and wait.

Additional Troubleshooting Steps for Steam Players

Currently, some Steam users with non-unique or common words in their “Profile Name” may have trouble appearing in search results due to how profile lookup works. Sadly, the BF6 API relies solely on “profile names” and Steam’s UIDs cannot be used to search against.

Luckily, there’s a workaround! It’s not the prettiest fix, but it’s almost guaranteed to work, and you’ll only need to do it once.

  1. Make sure Battlefield 6 isn’t running.
Then, open your Steam application and go to your Profile Settings page.

  2. Change your Profile Name.
Under the “General” section, you’ll see your current “Profile Name.”
Please change it to something unique; a random string of characters works perfectly (for example, TRN1234).

Notes: This temporary username must be unique, keep the name between 5-12 characters in length, and avoid spaces or symbols. Remember, this is only a temporary measure, so don’t worry too much about the vanity of the name.

  3. Don’t forget to click Save.

  4. Launch Battlefield 6 and play at least two matches in standard matchmaking.

After that, head over to the Battlefield 6 Tracker search bar and enter your new temporary unique ID. Your profile should now appear without issues.

Please be patient if this doesn’t work straightaway.

You can bookmark or save your new profile URL, which will continue to work even if you change your Steam Profile Name back later.

*Note. When changing your name back to the original name, your profile name will not update unless it’s successfully searched for again. So while we ask you to pick a more unique name for a moment, you may as well make it one you like! (Don’t worry, we’re hopeful to have fixes next week!)
